Dr Sushil Kumar Pattanaik, the Senior Faculty member of Commerce in Kshetrabasi DAV College, Nirakarpur, Khordha, Odisha has been honoured with the most Prestigious award of the Country Bharat Shiksha Ratna for his extraordinaire and outstanding contribution in the field of Business Education and Research for the year 2013 . Dr. Pattanaik, the eminent educationist and Researcher of the country bestowed with the coveted award, for exemplary contribution to Business Education and Research as he works continuously for exploring the research activities around the globe. He also acts honorarily as the Founder & Managing Editor of an International Research Journal (Journal of Business Management , Commerce and Research(JBMCR) and is successful only for his dedicated effort .
Dr. Pattanaik has been chosen for this prestigious award among luminaries across the country in the field of education and research and received this award on 29th April-2013 in a National seminar organised by the Global Society for Health and Educational Growth, New Delhi on individual contributions towards social development
He is the faculty in commerce in the state of Odisha for more than 20 years and very appreciable by the student community at large .He is also actively engaged in social development activities mainly to promote the rural entrepreneurs at bottom level and is very successful in trainings as well as mentoring the micro entrepreneurs
